The study noted that support is higher among school principals and teachers (85 %), skilled workers (85 %), public sector employees (87 %), and right‑wing voters (85 %).
Religion Lesson Time
About 54 % of Poles support limiting religious lessons to one hour per week, while 37 % would oppose it.
Health Education Adoption
Sixty percent of respondents who were aware of health education support introducing it into the curriculum, with 37 % giving strong backing.
Only 31 % oppose the new subject, and 9 % have no opinion.
Ministerial Outlook on Homework
Education Minister Barbara Nowacka said she does not rule out changes concerning mandatory homework, citing upcoming Institute of Educational Research studies.
The ministry will evaluate the impact of non‑mandatory, non‑graded homework and consider eighth‑grade exam results and parental and teacher feedback before making a decision.
