A poll conducted by SW Research for Onet on 12‑13 November found that 48.8 % of 824 adults approved of Karol Nawrocki’s participation in the National Independence Day parade on 11 November.
Survey Findings
SW Research asked 824 adult respondents how they view Karol Nawrocki’s appearance at the parade. Forty‑eight point eight percent answered positively, thirty‑seven point two percent negatively, and twenty‑five point five percent were undecided. Men were slightly more likely to approve (fifty‑one point four percent) than women (forty‑six point four percent). Unhappiness was also roughly equal, with thirty‑eight point eight percent of men and thirty‑six point six percent of women expressing disapproval.
Age‑Group Breakdown
Young respondents aged 24 or younger were most enthusiastic, with sixty‑five point three percent approving of Nawrocki’s participation. Approval fell with age, standing at fifty‑five point seven percent for 25‑34 year olds, fifty‑five point three percent for 35‑49 year olds, and only thirty‑nine point three percent for those over 50.
Parade Participants
The parade, which began at noon on 11 November at Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square, featured Karol Nawrocki with his wife, KPRP chief Zbigniew Bogucki, the leadership of KPRPi BBN, and other advisors. The event also included various other dignitaries and officials.
President’s Speech
During the ceremony, the President delivered a speech, noting that the second Polish Republic has never relinquished its ambitions. He highlighted the Central Industrial District, the port in Gdynia, and the Polish zloty as core symbols of the nation’s aspirations.
