PiS Considers Czarnek for Premiership
Poland’s Law and Justice (PiS) party has reportedly been considering Przemysław Czarnek as a candidate for Prime Minister. A poll was conducted among readers to gauge public opinion on this potential nomination.
Overwhelming Rejection of Czarnek
The results of the poll demonstrate a clear preference against Czarnek. A significant majority of respondents expressed their disapproval of him as a Prime Minister candidate.
Specifically, 90.43 percent of voters indicated that Przemysław Czarnek is not a suitable candidate for the position (as of March 26, 2026). This response overwhelmingly dominated the other options presented.
Breakdown of Poll Results
While the vast majority opposed Czarnek, 8.20 percent of participants expressed support for his candidacy. A further 1.37 percent indicated they had no opinion. A total of 2852 votes were cast in the poll.
Czarnek’s Background and Experience
Przemysław Czarnek, born in 1977 in Koło, is a lawyer and academic affiliated with the Catholic University of Lublin. He served as Minister of Education and Science from 2020 to 2023.
Prior to his ministerial role, he was the Voivode of Lublin from 2015 to 2019 and a Member of Parliament since 2019. He has been the Vice-President of PiS since 2025, specializing in constitutional law.
