On Thursday evening, December 11, officers forced entry into a Mokotów flat after an intoxicated father barricaded himself, following a disturbance involving two children.

Police were called to 54 Czerniakowska Street at night after a man barricaded himself inside an apartment where two children were staying.
Family in Disarray
The father of a 16‑year‑old boy and a 14‑year‑old girl, allegedly intoxicated, entered the home and behaved aggressively toward the children. The children fled, leaving their belongings and pets, and called for help. When police arrived, the man refused to open the door and remained inside.
Counter‑terrorism Unit Steps In
Because of concerns that the individual might possess weapons or pose a danger, the police summoned the Counter‑terrorism Unit. Officers forcefully entered and incapacitated the suspect.
Arrests and Custody
Records confirmed that the man had been wanted, leading to his arrest. The children were taken to the police child desk, and the mother—also a wanted person—was detained. Further processing will be handled under the supervision of appropriate services.
