A police car was involved in a serious accident on the Wołoska-Domaniewska intersection in Mokotów, leaving an officer trapped inside the vehicle. Three other individuals were injured.
Accident Description
At approximately 12:55, a serious traffic accident involving a police radio car occurred at the intersection of Wołoska and Domaniewska streets in Mokotów. An initial investigation revealed that the driver of a Toyota passenger vehicle collided with the side of the police patrol vehicle. The impact was significant enough that one officer became trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters, using special hydraulic tools, removed the officer and handed him over to the medical rescue team.
Police Investigation
At the scene, several fire brigades, medical rescue teams, numerous police patrols, and ZTM traffic control were working. Services were securing the accident site and managing traffic in the area. Police will conduct detailed investigations into the causes and circumstances of the accident.
Traffic Disruptions
As a result of the incident, traffic towards the city center was completely blocked. Additionally, trams were not running due to the blocked tracks.
