On Tuesday, 4 November, police arrested three suspected hooligans in the Gliwice region, seizing 25 kg of drugs, weapons and a premium car; a following operation on 5 November in Gdańsk detained a three‑man group including a soldier.
Three Hooligans Arrested in Knurow
Three men – aged 31, 36 and 27 – were detained in Knurow. They were linked to a local sports club’s hardcore fan base. Police seized about 2.5 kg of marijuana, 13.5 kg of MDMA, 8 kg of methamphetamine, 7 600 cups of cocaine, 100 g of hash, ecstasy tablets, 120 000 zł and a premium‑brand passenger car, totaling roughly 25 kg of narcotics.
Arrested Declared Indicted
The suspects were brought before the Gliwice‑West District Prosecutor’s Office and charged with trafficking large amounts of drugs. The 27‑year‑old was also accused of possession. Two of the men were listed as repeat offenders. The court accepted the prosecutor’s request for provisional detention and placed them in custody for three months. Criminal law allows up to 12 years for such trafficking; the sentence may increase by half for recidivism.
Raid Continues in Pomerania, Soldier Arrested
On 5 November in Gdańsk, police and Military Gendarmerie arrested a trio aged 34, 29 and 27, the youngest of whom is an active soldier. The investigation concerns robbery involving a dangerous weapon, forced robbery, and persistent harassment. The operation was executed with an armored vehicle, drone, thermal cameras, ground‑penetrating radar, a wall‑scanning device, a mobile drug laboratory, and trained dogs for narcotics and explosives detection.
Up to 20 Years Imprisonment
During the raid, authorities seized axes, machetes, a hand grenade, electronic equipment, external data storage, cash and drugs. The collected evidence justified provisional arrest, which the judge upheld for a three‑month period. Police inspector Anna Banaszewska‑Jaszczyk noted that the suspects could face sentences of up to 20 years if convicted.
