Police: Minors Assaulted Homeless Man; 13-Year-Old Attacked with Hammer

Przasnysz police investigating after group of teenagers, including a 13-year-old, attacked a 56-year-old homeless man with a hammer at a shopping mall.

Police Response

The District Police Headquarters in Przasnysz (Masovian Voivodeship) received a report on Friday, February 20 before 20:00 about a group of young people hassling a man in a shopping mall. When officers arrived, both the minors and the 56-year-old victim had already left the building.

Investigation Details

Police have identified the 56-year-old victim and 15 teenagers who reportedly participated in the incident. All teenagers are residents of Przasnysz county, aged between 13 and 16. In addition to proceedings against the 13-year-old, police are investigating potential incitement and complicity by other minors.

Mall Security Footage

Infoprzasnysz.com obtained footage showing a teenager hitting and kicking the homeless man while other minors encouraged the attack. The video also captures the teenager using a hammer, with some onlookers telling him to put it down. Due to the brutal nature of the recording, it has not been publicly published.
