Police Officers and Paramedic Rescue Family From Burning Home

Two police officers and a paramedic rescued a family from a house fire in Łajski, Poland, early this morning before firefighters arrived.

Swift Response to Emergency

Two police officers and a paramedic demonstrated extraordinary courage and composure while traveling to work this morning, immediately responding to a house fire in Łajski.

The incident occurred around 7:00 AM on Nowodworska Street, a busy route at that time. Despite the visible flames and smoke, passing drivers did not stop to offer assistance.

Officers and Paramedic Initiate Rescue

Police Sergeant Monika Wasiak was the first to arrive, immediately entering the property and helping residents evacuate the burning building. Shortly after, Police Officer Karolina Walczak and a passing paramedic joined the rescue effort.

Family Safely Evacuated

Working together in heavy smoke and spreading fire, the three individuals ensured the entire family was safely outside before the arrival of fire crews and additional police patrols.

A Display of Dedication

Despite causing a significant traffic jam, only these three individuals intervened. Their actions exemplify the police oath and demonstrate a commitment to helping others regardless of duty hours.
