On Sunday, 21 December, a domestic quarrel in Warsaw’s Białołęka neighbourhood erupted into a police chase after a woman fled her flat and a man allegedly tried to take a nine‑year‑old boy.
Domestic dispute begins
A confrontation inside an apartment in Białołęka, near the Trakt Nadwiślański, broke out on 21 December. A woman ran out of the building calling for help, while a man attempted to escort the nine‑year‑old boy out and leave with him.
Investigators later learned that the man is not the boy’s biological father.
Police chase ensues
Following the incident, a police pursuit started on the streets surrounding the area. Vehicles were redirected while officers searched for the missing child.
Traffic cordoned at Myśliborska‑Obrazkowa
Police cordoned off both vehicular and pedestrian traffic near the intersection of Myśliborska and Obrazkowa streets, close to National Road 61.
The zone was secured with police tape, preventing access to the scene.
Medical team deployed
A medical rescue team arrived on the scene to assist the distressed occupants and provide necessary care.
Investigation underway
Officers are gathering details to determine the sequence of events and locate the missing boy. No additional suspects have been identified.
