The Unit for the Fight Against Economic Crime and Corruption of the Ochota police command conducted a raid on a location on Orląt Lwowskich Street, targeting an illegally operating gambling center.

The Arrest

Police found a 40‑year‑old Ukrainian citizen inside the premises and detained her for selling gambling services in violation of the law.

Assets Seized

Seven gambling machines and cash totaling 2,500 zł were confiscated from the site.

Legal Consequences

Under article 107 of the Tax Criminal Code, operating gambling without a licence or permitting authority can result in a fine of up to 720 daily rates or imprisonment of up to three years.
