The minister stated: “Safety rules apply to everyone. The police will make the final assessment. We are all equal before the law. If an infraction occurred, I will not evade responsibility.”

Potential Consequences

For failing to yield priority to a pedestrian at a crossing, a mandatory fine of 1,500 zł and 15 penalty points apply, according to Kraków Municipal Police spokesperson Anna Wolak-Gromala.
