Polish Authorities Find 17th Drone, Military and Police Conduct Search Operations

Polish authorities have located the 17th drone amid military and police efforts to search for and protect the country from further Russian UAV incursions.

The 17th drone was discovered in the village of Przymiarka, Księżopol commune, Biłgoraj district. All relevant services have been notified, and police are conducting further investigations and securing the area, according to Karolina Gałecka, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Interior and Administration.

Nineteen Russian Drone Incursions

Nineteen Russian drones entered Polish airspace during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, with at least three drones reportedly shot down. Drone remains have been discovered in the following locations: Czosnówka, Cześniki, Krzywowierzba-Kolonia, Mniszków, Oleśno, Wielki Łan, Wohyń, Wyhalew, Wyryki, Zabłocie-Kolonia, Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą, Bychawka Trzecia, między Radiany-Sewerynów, Czyżów, Sobótka, Smyków, and Przymiarka.

Security Preparedness and NATO Article 4

Premier Donald Tusk stated during a parliamentary session that while Poland is not at war, the provocation by Russian drones poses the gravest threat thus far. Poland has invoked Article 4 of NATO, initiating consultations among alliance members to address threats to territorial integrity, political independence, and security.
