Polish Boy Suffers Skatepark Accident Near Wolski Bridge

A 12-year-old boy suffered serious injuries in a skatepark accident near the Wolski Bridge on Saturday after failing to wear a helmet.

Rescue by Friends

Two friends quickly sought help from city guards participating in the Praski Half-Marathon after their friend suffered a fall. The guards rushed immediately to the accident site.

Critical Condition

Found lying on the ground with a broken face and significant bleeding near his eye, the unconscious boy was partially aware. His friends reported that he lost consciousness intermittently while complaining of excruciating pain in his right shoulder and neck.

Paramedics and Family

The guards, who regularly participate in medical aid training, knew it was crucial to prevent the boy from standing and stabilize his neck. They waited for medical help while monitoring his vital signs. The boy’s parents arrived soon after the police and emergency services. He was taken to the Children’s Hospital Nieklańska.
