Nawrocki Accuses Poland of Unappreciated Aid

After a press conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday, Nawrocki said that Poland’s multi‑dimensional assistance since the full‑scale invasion has not received the recognition it deserves. He described the perception in Poland that their efforts were overlooked, calling the discussion a key topic of his meeting with Zelensky.

Łukasiewicz Labels Nawrocki’s Comments Too Brutal

In a TVN24 interview, Łukasiewicz warned that Nawrocki’s remarks might be “too brutal.” He stated that Ukrainians “pay back to us by the number of Russians they eliminate,” emphasizing that a Ukrainian victory could lead Russians to target Europe, Poland, and the Baltic states. He added that Polish interests, particularly security, are defined by the battlefield in Ukraine.

Zelensky Calls for Deepening Polish‑Ukrainian Cooperation

Zelensky reiterated that Ukraine will always be thankful for Poland’s early war aid. He urged stronger cooperation, coordination of defense efforts, and expressed a readiness to partner with Polish firms in Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Invitation for Nawrocki to Visit Kyiv and Discuss Rebuilding

Zelensky formally invited Nawrocki to Kyiv and requested Poland’s assistance in transferring Russian assets to Ukraine. He welcomed Polish companies to collaborate on joint projects aimed at rebuilding the country.
