Police confirm six Polish flags were ripped from buildings on Warsaw’s Kochanowskiego Street; one was found in a garbage bin, another in a sewer manhole.

The removal of Polish flags from façades on Kochanowskiego Street was reported to have occurred overnight from Saturday night to Sunday morning in Warsaw.
Police Statements
Jakub Gontarek, a junior officer from the press team of the Capital Police Headquarters, stated that at 8:31 a.m. on Sunday a report was received about the vandalism of national flags hanging on building facades. Police confirmed the incident when they arrived on scene.
Investigation Status
Investigators determined that six flags were torn down; one was located in a trash bin and another in a sewer manhole, while the whereabouts of the remaining four flags remain unknown. The police are still clarifying the circumstances of the event.
