Polish Government Reacts to Przydacz’s US Remarks

Poland’s government responds sharply to presidential aide Marcin Przydacz’s US criticism about Berlin-Brussels alignment.

Presidential Aide Slams Government Policy

Presidential minister Marcin Przydacz, during a visit to Washington, accused the Donald Tusk government of “attempts to push out, limit the American presence, including military.” He emphasized the need to maintain the best possible relationship with President Trump as a demanding partner.

Przydacz questioned the necessity of emotional comments aimed at domestic audiences and stated that government thinking “dominates in terms of Western European interests,” contrasting with his wish for Polish interests to prevail.

He criticized the government for “kowtowing to Berlin and Brussels,” linking this approach to the current political policy.

Government Officials Fire Back

Chief of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Marcin Kierwiński dismissed Przydacz’s remarks as “fitting even in cheap sci-fi publications,” asserting no one is pushing the US military out of Poland. He accused Przydacz of “mass-producing fakes and stupidity.”

Head of the Prime Minister’s Office Jan Grabece wrote: “He went to report on Poland. They have no shame,” condemning the actions.
