Routine sanitary inspections revealed that a spaghetti server distributed by the TEDi store chain does not meet safety standards, according to the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS).
Health Risks of Primary Aromatic Amines
The product was found to contain so-called primary aromatic amines, chemical compounds that should not penetrate food. Regular consumption of these substances is considered harmful to the body and can lead to serious health problems.

TEDi Reacts, Removes Product from Shelves
The TEDi retail chain reacted immediately, removing the product from the shelves of all stores nationwide as of April 9, 2026. The company’s headquarters in Germany has launched an internal investigation to determine how the contamination occurred during production.
