Łatwogang, a Polish internet personality, garnered over 250 million złoty (approximately $60 million USD) for cancer-stricken children through a YouTube livestream.
Who is Łatwogang?
Łatwogang is the online alias of Piotr Garkowski, one of Poland’s most popular young influencers. He prefers to remain somewhat anonymous, stating that it helps focus attention on the fundraising efforts for children.
Garkowski began his career on TikTok in 2021, later expanding to YouTube, where his signature catchphrase “Łatwo!” (“Easy!”) became well-known after completing challenges.
Early Challenges and Rise to Fame
One of Łatwogang’s initial challenges involved getting the word “gilbert” nominated for the Youth Word of the Year in 2022, which succeeded despite “essa” ultimately winning.
He further gained attention through ambitious feats like cycling from Poland to Morocco, spurred by a bet involving the number of likes on a photo of his foot – it received over 1.2 million likes.
Collaboration with Ed Sheeran
Łatwogang’s popularity increased with a collaboration with Ed Sheeran. During Sheeran’s 2025 concerts in Wrocław, the singer rode a tricycle with Łatwogang around the Old Town Square.
A challenge was issued: if a video of the ride reached one million likes, they would create a Polish-language version of Sheeran’s hit song. The resulting track, “Azizam,” was released in October 2025.
Record-Breaking Fundraising Livestream
The nine-day fundraising event for the Cancer Fighters Foundation was hosted on YouTube as a long-form livestream, concluding on April 26th with over 250 million złoty raised.
Numerous celebrities participated, visiting Łatwogang in his Warsaw apartment, with some, like Katarzyna Nosowska and Maffashion, shaving their heads in solidarity with children battling cancer.
