The accident
Stoparczyk was involved in a two-car accident on Friday afternoon near Jeżów on the S19 expressway in Nisko County, Podkarpackie Voivodeship. Two people died, including Stoparczyk, and three others were injured. The road was completely blocked in the Rzeszów direction.
Reaction from public figures
Marszałek Sejmu Szymon Hołownia shared a heartfelt tribute to Stoparczyk, highlighting her work in documenting the perspectives of children and her impact on his work with children. Politician Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk also paid tribute to her colleague’s work.
Government response
Podsekretarz stanu w Ministerstwie Edukacji Narodowej Polski Paulina Piechna-Więckiewicz expressed her condolences and remembered Stoparczyk as an award-winning journalist, author, and radio presenter. A memorial service is being planned.
