A source close to the President told Money.pl that while they will form one delegation on site, they will arrive separately, with Sikorski expected to arrive on Sunday evening.

Background of the Rift

There are reports of an open conflict between Nawrocki and Sikorski, with the two politicians exchanging barbs on social media.

Nawrocki had criticized Sikorski for sharing photos and videos from his visit to Washington, calling for more gravitas.

Sikorski responded, saying that when a politician refers to himself in the third person, it may be a sign of losing perspective.

President’s US Visit

On September 21, Nawrocki will attend the unveiling of a memorial plaque for former Prime Minister Jan Olszewski in Doylestown.

He will also participate in a mass at the National Sanctuary of Our Lady of Częstochowa and meet with representatives of the American Polish community.

New York Visit

On Monday, Nawrocki will visit New York, where he will attend a ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the UN’s founding.

He will also meet with various officials, including Ruth Porat, President and Chief Investment Officer of Alphabet and Google, and Annalena Baerbock, President of the 80th UN General Assembly.
