Local residents had initially grown alarmed by the noise generated by the birthday party, which was celebrating a friend’s birthday. The intervening officer emphasized that the incident began when a bystander, who requested the music volume be lowered, was met with a series of racist slurs and threats from the individual responsible.

The man, in violation of Article 257 of the Polish Criminal Code, now faces prosecution for public denigration. If convicted, he could potentially receive up to three years in prison, which would become his first international experience with incarceration.
