Comments on Trump’s Peace Plan

Łukasz Kohut, a Member of the European Parliament for the Civic Coalition, appeared on the Polish radio show “Three Questions at the End of the Day.” He described President Trump’s peace proposal as resembling the Munich Pact, asserting that it places Ukraine “under a wall” and warns that the situation will become very dangerous.

Kohut added that the plan is a decision for both Ukraine and Europe, noting that Ukraine is an “ice wall” between Russia and Europe, and that the coming week will likely be very intense.

Details of the 28‑Point U.S. Plan

The United States’ 28‑point peace proposal for Ukraine contains four main pillars: peace in Ukraine, security guarantees, European security, and the United States’ relations with Russia and Ukraine.

Territorial Control Concerns

It is unclear how Kyiv will address the most critical issue of territorial control in eastern Ukraine, where the Kremlin aims to retain significant land, including the Donbas region, according to the Axios portal.

Trump Sets Deadline for Zelenski

In an interview with Fox News, President Trump stated that the war had repeatedly met deadlines but often dragged on. He indicated that the upcoming Thursday, November 27, was an appropriate time for a decision from President Zelenski.
