A 30-year-old Polish model was beaten and targeted for sexual assault by a group of at least six men in Milan’s Porta Romana district on the afternoon of June 5.
The Assault in Porta Romana
The victim, identified as Anna, recounted the attack in an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. The incident occurred around 2:00 PM while she was walking to a local supermarket.
She noticed a group of six to eight men drinking alcohol. Sensing danger, she attempted to change her route, but the men followed and surrounded her. She was struck repeatedly in the stomach and face.
A Traumatic Experience
The model sustained significant injuries, including severe bruising and swelling to her right eye. She described the attack as a deeply traumatic event that left her terrified and unable to stop crying for hours afterward.
Search for a Hero
A passing stranger intervened after hearing the woman’s screams, scaring off the attackers and preventing further harm. The victim is now seeking to identify her rescuer, describing him as a tall, strong man who appeared to be Italian.
Legal and Police Action
The model has retained prominent attorney Domenico Musicco to handle her case. She intends to file a formal report with the police and continues to appeal for help in identifying the man who intervened to save her.
