Newly released asset declarations from Poland’s leading politicians reveal significant holdings, ranging from Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s diverse pension income to Sławomir Mentzen’s substantial cryptocurrency portfolio and the financial challenges facing Zbigniew Ziobro.
Donald Tusk’s Income and Assets
Prime Minister Donald Tusk reported savings of 49,568 PLN and 282,642 EUR. He disclosed two Allianz life insurance policies valued at 70,000 PLN each and a 2016 Grand Seiko GMT watch. His 2025 income included 47,603 PLN in parliamentary per diems, 294,977 PLN from the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, and 11,625 PLN in copyright royalties.
Tusk also declared three pension sources: 71,282 EUR from the European Commission, 144,423 PLN from ZUS, and 2,504 EUR from Belgium.
Jarosław Kaczyński’s Financial Status
PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński reported 363,406 PLN in savings and one-third ownership of a 150-square-meter house valued at approximately 2.2 million PLN. His 2025 income consisted of 47,603 PLN in parliamentary per diems, 138,413 PLN in MP salary, and 140,906 PLN in pension payments.
Kaczyński maintains a loan with SKOK im. Stefczyka, with 29,660 PLN remaining as of the end of 2025. He serves as chairman of the Lech Kaczyński Institute Foundation, a non-paid social role.
Kosiniak-Kamysz and Czarzasty Asset Disclosures
Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz reported 120,000 PLN in savings and 7,000 PLN in an investment fund. He owns an 86-square-meter apartment, several plots of land, and a garage. His 2025 income included 262,422 PLN as Deputy Prime Minister, 47,379 PLN in per diems, and 42,000 PLN from apartment rentals.
Sejm Speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty declared 185,797 PLN in bank savings, 70,000 PLN in cash, 5,000 EUR, as well as shares in Muza SA and various bonds. He reported significant real estate holdings and earned 311,236 PLN in salary alongside 47,603 PLN in per diems and 29,552 PLN from rentals.
Sławomir Mentzen’s Cryptocurrency Portfolio
Sławomir Mentzen disclosed 901,216 PLN in savings, plus foreign currency holdings. His portfolio includes 33.7 Bitcoins valued at over 10.5 million PLN. Additionally, he listed shares in several companies and noted that the Mentzen Family Foundation holds over 1.3 million PLN in cash and significant shares in Mentzen SA.
Mentzen’s real estate assets, held in a marital community of property, include a 370-square-meter house, a 107-square-meter apartment, and a large plot of land, with a combined estimated value of over 7 million PLN.
Legal and Financial Challenges for Ziobro and Romanowski
Zbigniew Ziobro reported 260,000 PLN in savings and substantial real estate assets. He disclosed that his defense costs in 2025 were covered by the Polish Sovereign Institute Foundation, which he is obligated to repay. He noted that his bank accounts and properties have been subject to seizure.
Marcin Romanowski declared 13,600 PLN and 8.7 million Hungarian forints. He reported receiving funds from the Hungarian-Polish Institute of Freedom and noted a security seizure on his account of over 114 million PLN, which he attributes to the valuation of Justice Fund projects rather than personal funds.
