A March IBRiS poll for PAP reveals shifting public opinion of Poland’s President Nawrocki, Prime Minister Tusk, and Sejm Marshal Czarzasty.

Prime Minister Tusk Experiences Falling Approval

In March, 37% of respondents viewed his work positively, a 1 percentage point decrease from February and a 5 percentage point decrease from January.

57% of respondents expressed a negative opinion of Tusk’s performance, with 35% choosing “definitely bad.” 6% of respondents answered “don’t know/hard to say.”

Marshal Czarzasty Improves Ratings

Włodzimierz Czarzasty, the Sejm Marshal, improved his ratings in March. 42% of respondents expressed a positive view of his work, with 28% rating him “rather good.”

This represents a 6 percentage point increase from February and a 2 percentage point increase from January. 50% of respondents hold a negative opinion of Czarzasty, with 35% rating him “definitely bad.” 8% of respondents answered “don’t know/hard to say.”

Czarzasty Alone Shows Positive Trend

The Institute noted that Czarzasty is the only one of the three politicians to improve his positive balance in March, both compared to the previous month and the beginning of the surveyed period.

Poll Methodology

The survey was conducted from March 27th to 28th, 2026, using the CATI method on a sample of 1067 adult Poles. (PAP)
