Polish Railway Sabotage: Ukrainian Volodymyr B. Charged

On 24 November, the Polish Office of the Prosecutor General announced that Ukrainian national Volodymyr B. faces two charges for aiding sabotage on railway line 7 near Mika and Gołąb.

Charges Filed Against Ukrainian National

On Monday, 24 November, the National Prosecutor General’s Office announced that Volodymyr B., arrested last week by CBŚP officers, is accused of two offenses related to sabotage on Polish railways.

Investigation Details and Evidence

Prosecutors from the Masovian National Prosecutor General’s Office, together with CBŚP officers from the Radom headquarters, concluded that the Ukrainian citizen assisted the direct perpetrators of sabotage on tracks in Mika and Gołąb.

The investigation found that in September 2025 Volodymyr B. transported Yevheniia I. to the area slated for sabotage on railway line 7, enabling the suspect to survey the terrain, choose emplacement sites for explosives, and install a surveillance device and a metallic triggering element.

Police Actions and Accusations

Prosecutors stated that the assistance involved logistically facilitating the preparation and execution of attacks on railway line 7.

Legal Proceedings and Detention

After charges were presented, the prosecutor interrogated Volodymyr B. as a suspect. The office added that it would not disclose his procedural stance. The man was subsequently detained.
