Polish Rapper Targeted by Interpol Red Notice, Says He Will Await Trial

Polish rapper Krystian Brzeziński, known as Jongmen, says he will wait for trial while in Dubai after Interpol issued a red notice and Polish prosecutors seek his extradition.

Interpol Red Notice for ‘Jongmen’

Interpol has issued a red notice for Polish rapper Krystian Brzeziński, aka Jongmen. The notice serves as an international alert for his arrest and extradition.

The Rapper’s Account of the Notice

During an interview with YouTube channel KryminalnaPolska, Brzeziński confirmed the notice. “It is a red notice. Of course, wherever I am detained, they will have to bring me to prison and I will wait for trial there,” he said. He has lived in Dubai for years while sought by Polish prosecutors.

No Details on VAT Fraud Inquiry

‘Jongmen’ is also wanted for alleged drug offences. Media reports claim an investigation into VAT fraud, but Brzeziński says he has no information. “Regarding the VAT case, I have no idea what it is about, because I have no information from my lawyers that any proceedings in my case are being pursued by any unit in Poland,” he explained.

Alleged Role in Drug Trafficking

Polish authorities have been searching for Jongmen since 2022, related to a crime allegedly committed in 2020. Prosecutors allege he assisted in selling 15 kg of amphetamine and 10 kg of kefedrone. His passport was reportedly cancelled by the Polish prosecution.

Polish Police Actions and Dubai Hideout

Investigators determined that Brzeziński has been hiding in Dubai for at least three years. Despite his passport being annulled, he frequently posts recorded videos on social media from the UAE.
