Pension Benefits and Supplement Increases
In March 2026, Polish seniors will receive another increase in their benefits. The indexation rate is 5.3%, which will translate to higher pension amounts and supplements. What increases can seniors expect? The lowest pension will increase by 99.58 zł gross and reach a level of 1,978.49 zł gross.
Care Supplement 2026 – New Amount After Indexation
The care supplement is one of the most frequently granted benefits. It is paid to persons completely unable to work and live independently, as well as those who have reached the age of 75. Currently, the care supplement amounts to 348.22 zł gross monthly. This amount is valid until the end of February 2026. From March 1st, due to the 5.3% benefit indexation, the care supplement will increase to 366.68 zł gross monthly.
War Veteran and Compensation Supplements: What will they be from March 1, 2026?
The war veteran supplement is a benefit granted to honor persons who have veteran status or are victims of wartime/post-war repression. In 2026, similar to pensions and annuities, the supplement will be subject to indexation. Currently, the war veteran supplement amounts to 348.22 zł gross monthly. This amount is valid until the end of February 2026. From March 1st of this year, the war veteran supplement will increase to 366.68 zł gross monthly.
Monthly Compensation Supplement
The monthly monetary benefit is granted to a person who is a veteran or victim of wartime or post-war repression, as well as to widows and widowers of these persons. This benefit supplements the war veteran supplement and is subject to annual indexation. Until the end of February 2026, the compensation supplement amounts to 52.23 zł gross monthly. From March 1, 2026, after the benefit indexation, the compensation supplement will increase to 55 zł gross monthly.
Energy Allowance 2026 – Higher Subsidy for Bills
The energy allowance is a special monetary benefit granted to veterans and persons entitled to the war veteran supplement. It compensates for higher costs of electricity, gas, or heating consumption. Currently, the allowance amounts to 312.71 zł gross monthly. After the March indexation, it will increase to 336.16 zł.
Supplement for War Invalids – What Will They Be After the Increase?
This is one of the highest additional benefits paid with a pension by ZUS. The supplement is granted to war invalids recognized as completely unable to work and live independently. In March 2026, the benefit will increase within the annual indexation. Currently, the supplement for a war invalid completely unable to work and live independently amounts to 522.34 zł gross monthly. After the March indexation, it will increase to 550.02 zł gross.
