Anna Wilska, a 33-year-old Polish woman residing on Mallorca since November, has been reported missing after her final communication with family in mid-April was abruptly interrupted.
Background of the Disappearance
Anna Wilska, originally from Ostrowite Prymasowskie in the Greater Poland region, had been living on Mallorca since last November, having previously spent a decade in Hamburg. Local police in Gniezno report that her last contact with family occurred in mid-April during a phone call with her brother that ended suddenly.
Suspicious Instagram Correspondence
Several days later, an acquaintance received an Instagram message from a stranger’s account, claiming to be Anna. The message stated she had been robbed on a beach and was without her phone, passport, or belongings, while requesting help to contact her sister.
Search Efforts and Current Status
Family members reached out to the man whose account was used to send the message, but he claimed he has no further contact with the 33-year-old. He reportedly attempted to locate her at the hostel where she was supposedly staying, but failed to find her.
Description and Call for Information
Gniezno police describe Anna Wilska as being 175 cm tall with a slim build, blue eyes, and medium-length brown hair with highlights. A distinctive mark is a vaccination scar on her left arm. Authorities are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the Gniezno County Police at 47 77 21 211, the emergency number 112, or Spanish authorities.
