Confederation Discusses Energy, Education, and Ukraine
The head of the Confederation club, Grzegorz Płaczek, stated at a press conference that the meeting with the president was substantive but “unfortunately very short, it lasted only an hour.” Topics included the future of Polish enterprises, rising electricity bills, the president’s bill to reduce energy costs, and mandatory health education in schools. Płaczek also mentioned Ukraine’s blockade of scrap metal exports to the EU, calling the situation “very serious, very dangerous.”

Aleksandra Owca, co-chair of Razem, identified the key discussion topic as the Polish People’s Party’s proposal to eliminate term limits for mayors, mayors, and city presidents. “In our opinion, this project is very harmful,” stated Owca. The talks also covered other proposals submitted by Razem.
Free School Meals Bill Frozen
Marcelina Zawisza, chair of the Razem group, highlighted a bill for free meals for all schoolchildren that was discussed with Nawrocki. Zawisza noted this bill has been submitted to the marshal’s office and is now frozen in committee. “There are things that should unite, not divide, which should be processed quickly because they concern the security, health, and well-being of our children,” she said.
