Poll Shows Overwhelming Negative View of Trump’s Second Term

Over 9,000 respondents in a new poll give overwhelmingly negative assessment of Donald Trump’s second term as US president.

Poll Results: Strong Negative Sentiment

A survey asking for an assessment of President Trump’s second term showed overwhelming negative results. The option “definitely negative” received 80.91% of votes (7,746 votes as of February 16, 2026), while “rather negative” garnered 9.93% (951 votes). Combined, negative assessments exceeded 90% of all responses.

In contrast, “definitely positive” was chosen by only 4.89% (468 people), while “rather positive” received 2.14% (205 votes). The “no opinion” option accounted for 2.13% (204 votes). The survey received 9,574 total responses.

Who is Donald Trump?

Donald John Trump, born June 14, 1946, in New York, is an American businessman, television personality, and politician. He served as the 45th President of the United States from 2017-2021 and was elected as the 47th President, taking office again in 2025.

Trump is the first US president to face criminal charges both during and after his presidency.
