Polish President Karol Nawrocki recently signed a classified agreement allowing foreign NATO forces to enter Poland, in connection with the “Eastern Sentry” mission. The agreement was classified as secret by the Office of National Security.
NATO Secretary-General Announces Eastern Sentry
NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte announced the “Eastern Sentry” mission during a Brussels press conference. General Alexus Grynkewich, the NATO commander in Europe, stated that the mission would integrate both air and land defenses to counter a wide range of Russian threats.
Russia’s Drone Incursions into NATO Territory
NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte presented a plan to strengthen the eastern flank of NATO in response to Russian actions. He stated that NATO forces have been active and effectively defended the alliance’s territory, which has seen the highest level of violations of NATO airspace observed.
