Firefighters, medical teams, and police were dispatched immediately to the site. Fifteen fire crews from the State and Volunteer Fire Services, along with medical and police units, secured the area and documented the wreck.
The difficult terrain required the use of quads to reach the crash site, and fire crews worked to extinguish remaining embers and search for potential additional victims.
