Polish prosecutors seek to detain Patryk M. “Great Bu” on organized‑crime and drug‑trafficking charges, asking the Lublin court to hold him until Feb. 4.
Arrest Request Filed
The National Prosecutor’s Office directed the Lublin‑West District Court to detain Patryk M. “Great Bu.” The request seeks to keep the suspect in custody until 4 February, and the court is expected to address the application later that day.
Charges Alleged
On Thursday, Patryk M., dubbed “Great Bu,” was brought to the Lublin branch of the National Prosecutor’s Office, where he faced charges linked to an organized group involved in smuggling and drug trafficking.
Their defense lawyers said he denied the accusations and refused to provide explanations, instead questioning whether the described events ever occurred, hoping that the investigation will clear his name.
European Arrest Warrant
The suspect had been pursued under a European arrest warrant issued by the Lublin prosecutor’s office.
He was arrested on 12 September during a raid in Hamburg after police determined he was planning to travel to Dubai. A German court approved the warrant and extradition.
On 6 November the man was handed over to Polish authorities.
