Project Overview
From 19 November 2025, drivers and public‑transport users in Pruszków will face new difficulties on Zdziarska Street as the city closes a 1.5‑km section between Gałczyński and Korczak to accommodate a major upgrade. The refurbishment includes new pavement, sidewalks, an integrated pedestrian‑bicycle lane, LED lighting, drainage, a tech channel, and brightened crosswalks and bus stops at eight intersections.
Road Closure Details
Pruszków Municipal Office issued a notice that the stretch from Gałczyński to Korczak will be closed until further notice, starting 19 November 2025. The closure coincides with the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection with Janusz Korczak Street.
Traffic Redirection Measures
Motorists are directed to detour via Warsaw, Broniewski and Długa Streets. The city urges cautious driving, attention to new signage, and preparation for possible increased traffic on the detour routes.
Bus Line 3 Adjustments
Line 3 will continue operating, but its route and stop list will change to accommodate the Zdziarska closure. During the detour, the functioning of its stops is suspended, though the line itself remains in service.
Bus Line 9 Adjustments
Line 9 will traverse the affected area using Gałczyński Street, with several stops along the segment closed. The line will not stop at its usual stops during the detour but remains operational with a revised route and reduced number of stops near Zdziarska.
School No. 5 and Ongoing Disruptions
The announcement includes guidance for students and parents of Primary School No. 5 to use the designated nearby stops during detours. These current disruptions continue the changes that began with the first phase on 29 September, when the segment from Długa to Brzeziński Streets was closed and only access to properties on that section was provided.
Previous Stage and Future Outlook
The 29 September closure also introduced detours via Długa, Konotopka and Gałczyński Streets and suspended stops Hortensji 01/02 and Zachodnia 01. The November communication updates these arrangements, adapting bus routes to the newly closed section, while the entire stretch from Długa to Korczak will be upgraded in phases, implying further changes in coming months.
