Pruszków Gathers Opinions on Potential Night‑time Alcohol Sale Ban

Pruszków Mayor Piotr Bąk has called for public consultations to decide on restricting alcohol sales after midnight in the municipality, with a survey and debate slated for December 8‑29, 2025 and January 8, 2026.

Mayor’s Proposal

Piotr Bąk, mayor of Pruszków, has proposed limiting alcohol sales during night hours across the municipality. He stressed that the ultimate decision should rest with local residents.

Survey Period

The municipality will hold an online survey from 8 to 29 December 2025. Residents can submit responses digitized through the city’s website; instructions and rules were published online.

Online and Paper‑based Participation

To accommodate those without internet access, paper copies of the questionnaire will be available at several locations within Pruszków. Sign‑up details and distribution points were announced by the city.

Community Debate

A public debate featuring experts is scheduled for 8 January 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the city council’s conference room, 2nd floor, 46 Armii Krajowej Avenue. The discussion will review survey findings and present arguments for and against the proposed night‑time limits.

Future Decision Process

City officials say the results of the consultation and debate will serve as the basis for any further regulation on night‑time alcohol sales. They highlighted the crucial role of citizen participation in shaping the final outcome.
