Pruszków Violence: Group Breaks Windows, Beats and Sprays Gas on Two Women

Four individuals detained in Pruszków after attacking women, breaking windows, and using gas during Saturday night disturbance.

Incident Details

A violent disturbance occurred on Ołówkowa Street in Pruszków on Saturday night, resulting in a 29-year-old Ukrainian woman being hospitalized with head injuries. According to preliminary information, a group of aggressive individuals were moving along the street when two men began hitting windows of ground-floor apartments with wooden sticks.

Attack on Women

When the Ukrainian victim came out to demand compensation for broken windows, a woman joined the attackers, leading to a physical altercation between the women. The victim’s mother-in-law came to help, at which point one of the men struck the 29-year-old in the head with a wooden stick. Both women were then sprayed with gas by the assailants.

Police Response

Police detained four individuals in connection with the incident: three men aged 23, 35, and 50, and a 45-year-old woman. The victims, both Ukrainian women, received medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Police continue to investigate the exact circumstances of the event and are checking for additional participants.

Official Statement

According to official police reports, there is no confirmation of media claims that the attack was related to local football hooligans. Police are cooperating with the Pruszków District Prosecutor’s Office as they work to establish the full facts of the case.
