Psychoactive Substances Found in Supplements; Manufacturer Evades Sanitary Inspection

Poland’s Chief Sanitary Inspectorate has issued an urgent public warning after discovering THC in dietary supplements, ordering an immediate recall while the manufacturer remains unresponsive to official inquiries.

Urgent Recall Issued

On May 18, 2026, the State Sanitary Inspection issued a formal decision banning the sale of specific dietary supplements and mandating their immediate withdrawal from the market. Official inspections confirmed the presence of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a psychoactive substance, in the products.

Manufacturer Avoids Accountability

Representatives of the State Sanitary Inspection have attempted to contact the manufacturer, Dutch Therapy Maciej Kamiński based in Słupsk, but have received no response. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.

Health Risks to Consumers

Officials strongly advise against consuming the affected product batches. According to risk assessments conducted by the National Institute of Public Health NIH – National Research Institute, the specified supplements pose a significant threat to consumer health.
