Putin Broke Promise as Russia Launches Night Attacks on Ukrainian Energy

Russia launched a massive nighttime attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure using 450 drones and 60 missiles, despite Putin’s recent promises to the US.

Russia Breaks Promise, Attacks Ukrainian Energy

On Tuesday, February 3, Andrij Sybiha reported on a nighttime attack conducted by Russia, utilizing 450 drones and over 60 missiles, including ballistic ones. The primary targets were energy infrastructure and residential buildings in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, and other regions.

Sybiha on Putin’s Broken Promises

“Putin waited for temperatures to drop and gathered drones and missiles to continue genocidal attacks on the Ukrainian nation. Neither the expected diplomatic efforts in Abu Dhabi this week nor his promises made to the United States stopped him from continuing terror against ordinary people in the harshest winter,” Sybiha wrote. He noted that temperatures in Ukraine fell below -20°C. “That’s all regarding Putin’s promise to US President Donald Trump,” commented Radosław Sikorski.

Ukraine Presents Ways to Counter Russian Aggression

The head of Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs assessed that “we are dealing with terrorists who must be forced to stop violence.” He believes this can be achieved by strengthening air defense and energy resilience in Ukraine. It is also necessary to increase pressure on Moscow. “Deprive the Russian war machine of revenue from energy and access to technology. Isolate the Russian regime. Stop and confiscate illegal Russian tankers. Putin must be stripped of the illusion that he can achieve anything through bombings, terror and aggression,” Sybiha wrote.
