At 5 am, the Operational Command of the Armed Forces reported that Polish and allied aircraft had begun operating over the airspace, in response to Russia’s ongoing large‑scale attacks on Ukraine.
Readiness of Air Defence Systems
According to procedures, the commander activated all available assets, deployed guard patrols and early‑warning aircraft, and put ground air‑defence and radar reconnaissance systems at maximum readiness, marking these actions as pre‑emptive measures.
