RCB Alert Issued to Warsaw Residents: Stay Calm Ahead of Exercises

RCB Alert: Message for Warsaw Residents

The Government Security Center (RCB) sent a warning on Wednesday, November 26, to people living or staying in Warsaw. It announced that on Monday, November 27, service exercises would take place on Mszczonowska Street near Reduta Hospital and in Szczęśliwicki Park. Residents are urged to remain calm and follow instructions. The alert did not give further details, but authorities warned of potential pedestrian and vehicular disruptions in the area.

Operation ‘Horizon’ and Third-Level Alarm on the Railway

Since Friday, November 21, the Polish government has been running Operation “Horizon” in response to railway sabotage incidents. The operation is coordinated by the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of National Defence, with police and army forces securing critical infrastructure. It also includes greater presence of services in public spaces and public awareness campaigns against disinformation. The Prime Minister has instituted a third-level alarm for areas along rail lines, which is to remain in effect until the end of February 2026.

Investigation into Sabotage Acts in Poland

Earlier this week, the National Prosecutor’s Office announced that a Ukrainian citizen, Volodymyr B., apprehended by CBŚP officers, faced two charges related to railway sabotage in Poland. Prosecutors from the Masovian Regional Prosecutor’s Office, working with CBŚP officials from Radom, determined that the individual aided the direct perpetrators of sabotage on railway tracks in the towns of Mika and Gołąb.
