Police from ‘Cobra’ and Legionowo recovered a stolen Kia XCeed and arrested a 29-year-old suspected trafficker in Legionowo.
Recovery of Stolen Vehicle
Based on operational intelligence, police from the “Cobra” unit located and secured a Kia XCeed stolen several weeks earlier from the Wola district in Warsaw. They confirmed the vehicle was present on a property in Legionowo and verified it was the one stolen in late January.
Suspect Apprehended and Evidence Seized
Police identified a 29-year-old man believed to have brought the stolen Kia to the property. He was arrested shortly after returning home from the gym. During searches of residential and outbuildings, police secured registration plates, a car remote, an electronic diagnostic device, and 9,000 zloty in cash. The stolen vehicle was also secured.
Legal Proceedings
The suspect was formally charged with car trafficking. The Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Legionowo ordered him placed under police supervision. The investigation is being supervised by the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Legionowo.
