A serious traffic incident involving a Renault Kangoo delivery van occurred today, Thursday, June 4, at approximately 2:00 PM on Słomińskiego Street in Warsaw, near the intersection with Szymanowska Street.
Sequence of the Crash
According to initial findings, the driver, a Ukrainian national, failed to adjust his speed to the hazardous road conditions caused by rainfall. The vehicle lost traction, skidded, rotated, and veered off the road. It struck one tree before hitting a second tree with significant force.
Emergency Response and Medical Status
Two fire department units, two medical rescue teams, and the police were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters secured the area and assisted the occupants. Both the driver and his passenger, also a Ukrainian citizen, were assessed by medical personnel and subsequently transported to hospitals for further diagnostics.
