Polish Ministry of Development and Technology amends housing law but neglects internal road regulations.
Proposed Legislative Changes
The Ministry of Development and Technology is working on a major amendment to the Act on Ownership of Premises (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 1048 with amendments; hereinafter: a.o.p.), which is intended to facilitate the management of residential communities.
Unaddressed Road Management Issues
However, the project lacks solutions regarding internal roads and infrastructure located within the communities, which on a daily basis cause quite a few problems. Property managers and lawyers servicing communities have appealed to the ministry to introduce such changes.
Ministry’s Response
The Ministry has agreed with them. It believes that internal roads indeed require new regulations and is currently working on them.
