Polish military authorities began investigating the discovery of a rocket fragment in Jarosławiec, Lublin Voivodeship, on April 10th.
Rocket Fragment Discovery
On April 10th, the Military Gendarmerie initiated activities in Jarosławiec, Lublin Voivodeship, where a fragment of a rocket, likely used to counter Russian drones on the night of September 9-10, 2025, was found in an orchard.
The area has been secured, and authorities state there is no threat to public safety.
Investigation Underway
According to Lublin112.pl, the investigation is being supervised by the Military Affairs Department of the Lublin District Prosecutor’s Office.
Investigators aim to determine the origin of the fragment and the circumstances of its presence in the orchard. At this stage, authorities are not releasing further information, according to Lieutenant Colonel Dariusz Rozkosz in a conversation with Interia.
