Russian Attack Targets Miners in Dnipropetrovsk Region

A Russian drone struck near a worker’s bus in the Dnipropetrovsk region, carrying miners employed by DTEK company. Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Military Administration, reported that the attack occurred in the Pavlohrad district.

Death Toll Rises as Details Emerge

Initially reported as 13 miners killed with 8 injured, the death toll has been revised to 15 according to DTEK company, whose employees were victims of the attack. The epicenter of one of the attacks was identified as a worker’s bus carrying miners after a shift change.

Miners’ Union Describes Attack as Terrorist Act

Mykhailo Volynets, chairman of the Independent Miners’ Union of Ukraine, explained that Russia attacked when workers were changing shifts. He stated that “the enemy used 4 Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles.” The union emphasized that the enemy carried out a “large-scale terrorist attack on DTEK mines in the Dnipropetrovsk region.”

Condolences Extended to Victims’ Families

Condolence messages were posted on Telegram to the families of the victims of the attack.
