Russian Drones Over Poland: Military Warns Citizens to Stay Indoors

Over the course of a massive Russian attack on Ukraine, Poland’s air defense systems have successfully shot down Russian drones multiple times, with several believed to have entered Polish airspace.

Polish Defense Forces’ Drones Shot Down

The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces reported that multiple Russian drones violated Polish airspace shortly before 4 AM during the coordinated Russian assault on Ukrainian targets. Current operations aim to neutralize these objects, with services actively searching for downed drones.

Most Affected Regions

Residents are particularly advised to remain indoors in the affected polish regions, including Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, and Lubelskie.

Safety Precautions

In an appeal by Poland’s General Staff, citizens are urged not to approach or handle any discovered remnants of downed drones, as they may pose safety risks and require inspection by engineering patrols.
