Russian Leader’s Decapitated Body Found Near Polish Border

The body of a Russian leader, found decapitated near Poland’s border, has been linked to the head of a potassium mining firm.

Russian Official’s Body Location

The body of a Russian official, identified as 47-year-old Aleksey S., was found in the Kaliningrad region near the Polish border.

Connection to Businessman

Initial investigations suggest a possible connection to Aleksandr Matytsin, the newly appointed CEO of K-Potash Service, who took over the company in October 2022. The company had been developing a potassium mine in the village of Nivenskoye in the Kaliningrad region.

Financial and Legal Troubles

The company was found to be in a “disastrous financial situation” according to a judgment by the Arbitration Court of Kaliningrad, released in October 2022. Residents of the village had previously protested against the construction of the mine.
