Russian SSJ100 Breaks Apart Mid‑Flight, Forces Emergency Landing

Following the forced landing, the passengers declined to resume the flight and arranged independent travel to Błagowieszczeńska.

Russian prosecutors have opened an investigative case and are examining potential violations of Article 263 of the Russian Criminal Code relating to air‑traffic safety breaches.

The Russian news agency Tass reported that investigators will evaluate the work of the technical services at Vladivostok Airport that had prepared the aircraft for departure, and that a criminal proceeding has been initiated.
