Polish air forces have deployed fighter jets to safeguard airspace over Poland amid Russia’s intensified offensive against Ukraine, with forces held at highest readiness.

The purpose of dispatching fighter jets is to secure the airspace and its protection, especially in regions adjacent to threatened areas.
According to the operational commander of the armed forces, necessary forces and means have been activated. Air defense and radar reconnaissance systems have reached the highest state of readiness.
“The operational command monitors the situation, and subordinate forces remain ready for immediate response,” the statement emphasized.
Ongoing Russian Attacks on Ukraine
The attack on Ukraine continues, with explosions reported in the Chmielnick, Tarnopol, and Ivano‑Frankivsk regions.
Reports also indicate a large drone assault on Kharkiv.
